Chaparral (Larrea tridentata) A shrub native to the southwest and Mexico and very possibly the thing I miss most about growing up in Arizona.

This one plant possesses more herbal qualities then I have space to write. Larrea’s anti microbial properties as well as its very potent antioxidant qualities make it a great leading herb in this formula.

Japanese Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica). This persistent darling brought over from Japan in 1806 is a well known invasive species here in New England. This Intoxicatingly sweet smelling plant has wonderful anti-inflammatory properties. It is also anti-microbial and high in anti-oxidants.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis) an all around skin worship worthy diva! ready to take on that persistent rash or cut that just wont heal, It aids in the growth of healthy skin cells and calms inflammation.

Saint Johns Wort (Hypericum perforatum) also a skin loving plant that has an affinity to the nervous system. Topically this plant has traditionally been used to help support the body in repairing damaged nerves and soothing inflamed tissues.
